A PAIR OF THREE DRAWER ROLLING CABINETS DESIGNED BY RAYMOND LOEWY FOR HILL-ROM IN THE MID 1950s. THE CABINETS ARE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT IN SIZE AND DESIGN (SEE PHOTOS). THEY BOTH FEATURE RICHLY TONED WALNUT DRAWER FRONTS WITH ALUMINUM PULLS AND WALNUT SIDES. THE TOPS ARE LAMINATE (LIGHT GREY-TANNISH STRIPES) AND THEY BOTH REST ON TUBULAR ALUMINUM LEGS WITH CASTERS.  THE INTERIOR OF THE DRAWERS ON THE TALLER CABINET ARE PLASTIC. AND ON THE SMALLER CABINET THE INTERIORS ARE METAL. PER A 1955 INTERIORS MAGAZINE, THESE CABINETS WERE INTENDED FOR USE AS BEDSIDE TABLES IN HOSPITAL ROOMS.
